On me it lasts pretty much a full day turning to a skin scent after a few hours. The neroli gives it a nice fresh touch. What a fantastic fragrance that exceeds the earlier release Prada L'Homme. Prada L'homme is a very safe, inoffensive scent that works really well as an office scent. DHE has a much more lipsticky Iris accord, where as this is a more clean, plasticky Iris accord. Wow the reviews indicate longevity and projection are bad. I wanted to find something new that speaks to that so was looking toward Prada Carbon and found that I preferred my already owned Sauvage edt. The original Lhomme is a little less sweet and more sophisticated. It has enough sweetness to keep the spicy ginger in check and just a touch of woody powdery dry down to soften the sharpness of neroli. It is in that same sweet and fresh fragrance category. The best of the L'Homme line. Til the drydown it gradually becomes more and more closer to the original but the powdery sweet florals are always in the background. At the top i can pick up a few notes, the powder note, the ginger and the iris. as opposed to Prada Amber, absolutely unbearable for me. I really liked it. OK, like everyone else is saying it doesn't last as long or project as much but I don't think it's drastically a deal breaker. is clean. Unfortunately though, I detect just a hint of the ginger and neroli opening which I would have liked more of just to get my nose freshened but instead, it's pretty much straight into the iris and amber and powdery sandalwood. Tested from a sample with no atomizer, so it is hard for me to say if the performance would be better if I tested from a bottle. What a beautiful, clean, fresh scent this is. I find it strange to come with aquatic fresh summer fragrance for the holiday season in North America. I really wouldn't blind buy Dior Homme intense. Great scent. To me it smells like a cross between Prada L'Homme and Infusion D'Homme. I'm a woman and a fellow scent addict. From work to play. DHI is definitely more sensual. I like It. You might consider instead Tom Ford Amber Absolute, Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan, or Saint Laurent Body Kouros, all ambers that thankfully lack DHI's huge toxic ambroxan load. When I spray this perfume, I am aware that I am influencing my environment and I love this fragrance. I enjoy this one. I think it's a genderless smell. I tested all L'homme Prada yesterday, here's my take: This is how the original Prada L'homme should have smelt like. The nose behind this fragrance is Daniela (Roche) Andrier. All smell perfect. It opens reminiscent of the original but a bit lighter and less powdery. This seems on par with a lot of other reviewers. Highly recommended. Airy citrus, soft touch powdery, very present iris, fresh spicy and very light woody touch, I call it Dior Homne Sport cousin, hehehehe, with expensive price and weak longevity and performance, so feeling bad, ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA FLORENTINE IRIS is much much better to this one, I like the smell just I'm not happy with the performance. All smell expensive and very refined. A place for adult fragrance lovers to discuss all the smells! This isn't a statement frag, but is inoffensive and safe with its moderate sillage and delicate aroma. So...my wife has been complaining that I switch frags too often and that I should choose a signature. If only the longevity was better ... very similar to infusion d'homme.i like it. While Prada L'Homme classic is clearly a powdery iris scent for spring and autumn, and L'Homme Intense is powdery iris scent with some patchouli accent great for winter, L'Homme L'Eau is much more fresh and cleaner, beautiful balanced summer descreet office fragrance. This is one of my favorite office fragrances! It's got nothing on the dior homme line which is unmistakable masculine. I have the tree brothers L`Homme Prada EDT, L'Homme Prada Intense EDP and L`Homme Prada L'Eau EDT. I love this so much, I purchased a 5.1oz backup bottle. I also own a 2013 bottle of DHI, which I don't particularly care for. Be respectful, inclusive, avoid hostile comments, and don't cause needless drama. The opening is fresh, calm, powdery, aromatic, and pleasant. Great scent! The initial smell of this cologne reminds me a lot of La Male superman. GENTSCENTS did a really good youtube video on good/bogus sites you may want to check out. It's like a bold soft scent, if that makes sense, like the color of the bottle. And I could swear I even get just a hint of cardamom in the opening just like L'Homme but then again, it could be my nose brain playing tricks on me. Versace pour Homme Oud Noir - very similar to Versace Man? This is not going to make the fragrance sound masculine or sexy, but here goes: I love this fragrance because it reminds me of my grandmother. If you like Prada Lhomme but want it to be a little sweeter with a little weaker performance, then this is your monster. Elegantly bright. Indeed, I had been on the market to buy Prada L'Homme, and while I haven't tried the Intense version, I've tested L'Homme and it was unremarkable at first. I finally got around to using a couple of samples that I had and actually enjoyed the opening and dry of this flanker. I feel like the ginger really helps cut down on the sometimes too strong powdery scent of the original. It's a clean scent that quickly dries down to the iris & sandalwood resting on the powder. L'Homme L'Eau, is much more tolerable than the original version, due to the toned down iris/powdery notes. It's really a shame, because I feel like this stuff is fresher/cleaner than the original. I have Intense, OG, and now L’ Eau. Not that there was much to get, soft milky iris and warm woods and amber. Don't let the "L'eau" part of the name fool you, it is not a light scent like you think it would be. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
